** Example 1: if your unit on (VC) has the ability "VCThis unit gets [Power]+3000 for each grade 1 or less card in your drop zone.", and you have in your drop zone 1 "Neon Messiah", 1 "Breaking Deletor, Gatario", and 1 "Rising Deletor, Aurion" in your drop zone, the [Power] increase will be +6000 and not +9000 because "Aurion" doesn't have a grade.

** Example 2: You use the ability ", choose a number of rear guards, up to the grade of the SB card +1, and retire them.", and you SB a "Rising Deletor, Aurion", you won't be able to choose any number of rear guards since it has no grade. You can however use "Aurion" as part of this cost, since the grade is only referred after paying the cost.
