Hi Bizen, I read that Creeping Hands is made by White Pedestal, as you searched for the image. I know White Pedestal, as they do not seem have interest left in updating the current state of Creeping Hands. Do you mind if I remake some of them into V Series?
Edit: You might wanna join Discord, plenty of users from this fanon are joining in.
Reading what was written on 10/8/2016, I was not interested in the story. Here's some advice for making your story more interesting.
1. Cray's plot isn't good, there's no hype given to the reader to be interested in the main story. All the nations in Planet Cray made a teleportation device by accident?
What were they trying to make and why were they making it?
How would it benefit each nation contributing to the research?
Where was the teleportation device located? (Which is where their main allies and enemies would be)
You could have written it as such.
"As the technology of Cray advanced beyond one's imagination, an experimental device causes Cray to be linked with another planet. Shortly thereafter, reports of attacks occuring throughout Cray sparks concern within many nations, causing them to assign <Insert Sam's Clan here> to investigate. As <Sam's Clan> complies all known information of the assaults, they noticed another entity who have been reported to be defending the citizens of Cray from the attacks."
2. Seeing Aichi's love for Cardfight Vanguard, I fail to see why Sam Sendou (A pretty bad name considering the culture of Aichi) would not have been taught Vanguard.
If you want to use the same route that the generic protagonist takes in Card Games, I'd suggest that Sam be completely disassosiated with any known canonical characters.
I cannot comment on any of the characters or clans as there is no information on them whatsoever.
It feels... really overpowered... I don't like making massively overpowered mechanics in my own fanon, honestly. However, if you are making the card, I will accept it.
Let's break it down (TL:DR version on top):
...after your turn is over put it face up in the Final zone but the Stride stays.
Stride stays for another turn, allowing players to infinitely Gride for four turns in a row. Stride itselfs gives the vanguard massive power already, Bushiroad making it only for offense is a decent idea at most. Now letting it be used defensively makes it really Overpowered.
(Tell me how often a Card is able to hit 26k without Legion or Stride now, I feel out of touch, by the way)
Take this card from the Final zone and ride it,Put 7 cards from the Drop zone to under your deck
You don't lose cards when Griding, even Stride makes you discard cards who grade totals up to a minimum of three (Which can be from 1~3 cards). Combine that with restoring seven cards back into your deck (which all are probably trigger, I may add) and Quad Drive, I call overpowered.
When this unit Grides choose 2 enemy Rear guards and give its power to it and retire one of them.
Uh... Does that not defeat the purpose of giving the two enemy rearguards power? You might as well say choose 1 enemy rearguard and it gains power equal to the base power of this card, and chose 1 enemy rearguard and retire it.
Even then it isn't much help to the enemy... If it increases shield power, on the other hand... :3
...your opponent has 2 or more cards in hand
Okay, possible Perfect Guard, but I think 2 or more cards is too much for Gride. Make it a minimum of 5 cards, that should give the enemy a fighting chance.
End of explanation
While I like the idea of using raw power to just crush the opponent's defend, do keep in mind that you wouldn't like that to happen to you either. Tell me, would you like defending yourself against a 40k base attack (excluding boost, which most likely brings it up to 50k) with four drive checks?
It's a pretty interesting mechanic that relies on luck. As such, I have some mixed feelings about it. On one hand, it makes vanguard more interesting, but makes it less consistent as well. Royal Flush relies on having you have less triggers in the deck, which makes up for the end game.
Royal Flush also changes the entire way of Playing Neo Nectar's Musketeers. More people will run Mirrka in their decks due to free shuffling ability.
With Royal Flush as it is now, I actually wouldn't be surprised if it Bushiroad would steal it if they come by this website.
Not to mention Legion pretty much counters EVERYTHING from the previous Seasons: 20k base attack (Season 1 & 2 used a lot of 10k base vanguards, and those that didn't: there are now better versions of their abilities), Early Game Attack (Season 2 & 3 Limit Break is extremely weak to early game attacks).
I tested Hyakki against Karitora and Yakahisa, he still stood a valid chance. Against Yakahisa because she was hit seven, Karitora because she had a weakness to him though... Though I'm guessing Royal Flush is not much to worry, it's the second ability that one needs to be weary of. If you know how to counter those abilities, you should be fine even with Season 1 cards (that aren't 9k).
So, Hyakki and Royal Flush pretty much even. Royal Flush's advantage against Limit Breakers is the use of powerful abilities from turn 3 if lucky enough. However, by Limit Break they begin losing out on such abilities if you're unlucky. I stated this on the Royal Flush, Limit Break supports this or this supports Limit Break. [That's until I release that support]
Hey Bizen, i would like to ask permission to include your "Jinsei" Clan in a project im working on! Its a vanguard visual play and a completely original story. Id like to get some original/ Fanmade clans made by the fandom to incorperate as much into it as possible. Your fully welcome to join me, and direct how it works. youd be given full creative rights involving that clan in the project if you wish. if yes we can work some things out here on skype =D
Hello Tsunar, I would be honoured to let you include "Jinsei" Clan.
About directing how it works... I'm afraid I don't think I have enough time to fully continue working on my fanon clans, no to mention the dwindling interest of vanguard that I have due to the massive power creep.
You may feel free to create some of your own cards on "Jinsei" as a result (including Legion and Lock type cards I suppose)
I would ask that any skill you wish to include could be checked by me to prevent overpowering cards.
For quick reference. That misjudge on card. I admit it wasn't quite what I was thinking in my head, but I edited like a Nubatama/Murakumo or Fanonly Kasumi which is my anti Nubatama and the only clan in my first Anti thesis set so far that is both not in the same nation at it's counterpart, but not an entirely new nation like(Arcane). So shh..please.. I think now that I got it's proper form down it's fair. Please don't blame me for thinking Soul Blasting harder and not just because Limit break is out there making Damage on purpose a better option then before it existed. While there exist Soul Gathering Clans. Death paladin and Arcane are both Soul addicts. Arcane is probably more subtle about it because there bound to have Higher Hand effects like Oracle. My point with these cards when I took back on my first ever project was not to just make Anti Cards, but cards that would make a solid clan of course it's a work in progress Arcane only has it's first rank three. Frankly whether worked my way up or down I would still have troubles. I am just going down because it's easier on me to do the ones on the top right now.
and the other thing you did?
Interrupted private conversation between me and my proxy(hat) who can't seem to figure out how to give me back the powers I used to have and no he has.
Since your not really number 1! I am ! You're looking at the founder of the Wiki. I am not quick to anger, but when i feel someone has done me an Injustice it will be a problem, so you while you have a right to free speech. I think you may have more experience, but I am still your senpai. I am no morikawa. Back when I still could play I made many experimental decks and one thing that will never change is my favorite clan is DP(random facts) I made both a general Counter Blast Deck and General Soul Blast Deck.
I used to have a female friend on byond who never revealed her gender I liked to think she was female because of the Nagisa avatar she was using. I was Gokol there. Her other friend who was a girl for sure though she was man. OMG as I was typing this a thought entered my mine? could she be crushing for our mutual friend? Kind of like I wanted them to be themf female for may be a selfish reason? Anyways fill free to check out the edit if you haven't. Because I am interested if you still think it's OP.
